Year: 2022

2022 reflection

Kia ora bloggers. this is my 2022 reflection.

The event I remember the most is athletics day.

The reason I remember it so clearly is because it was the latest event.

The event I enjoyed the most is a family fun day because we didn’t do any work.

The thing I enjoyed the most is a family fun day because we did NO work.

The most improvement is swimming because in all the swimming events.

The subject I enjoyed the most is family fun day the reason why is because we did no work just games.

I made no friendships in the events.

The reprehensibility I have learned in these events is to find myself in the next games.

In the responsibility I felt good being able to not get told by the teacher to go somewhere.

The thing I want to share about 2022 is it was a fun year. we did a lot of subjects and events it was one of my favorite years. but the bad thing is my teacher Mr. Hing Windsor is leaving to India for seven years😭

I wish i was there😿.  and i also had my school design  i had an office a staff room and more! i also made a slide show with voice over it was cool . we got a A4 paper and we had to plan out our area and perimeter and volume the hardest one is volume. how we made it was easy first we made our model and  then we planed out our volume and area and perimeter. i felt really good about my work. i felt nervous showing my work. Making the buildings was hard but i got used to it. That’s all THE END.

Story of Parihaka

Kia ora bloggers,

I made a headband. First, I got a long piece of paper and drew Taniko patterns on it. It was super fun after that I had to measure my head. And after that I cut it, then taped it and I got feathers. You could have 1 2 or 3. then after that I  was done it looks amazing.

That is a pic of me with my head band.

More pics down here.

IT LOOKS AMAZING!!

In Parihaka, they did not use violence to solve the problem. Instead they wanted to have peace. This is why we remember Parihaka.

Earthquakes

Hello my name is Saber and this term we are learning about earthquakes.Scientists Say: Earthquake | Science News for Students

Earthquakes are formed when tectonic plates move.

Then an earthquake starts and you can see how powerful an earthquake is  on the richter scale. There can be a 1 that means that it’s unnoticeable  and 10 that means it’s really deadly.Experts Answer Your Biggest Questions About Earthquakes | WIRED

Here is a link to an earthquake website link here.

Did you know the largest earthquake ever recorded was in 1960 in Chili. The New Zealand earthquake happened in 2011, in Christchurch.

When an earthquake happens under water a tsunami happens.

Did you know there are 17 or more earthquakes that happen every day?

In a year more than 2000 earthquakes happen.

Earthquakes occur in the crust or upper mantle, from the earth’s surface to about 400 miles below the surface. But the very deepest earthquakes only occur at subduction zones where cold crustal rock is being pushed deep into the earth.
